About the speaker
Mark has been keeping fish for 45 years. He has been a member of the Greater City Aquarium Society for over thirty years, and has served on its board of directors for over twenty years. He is also an active member of the Long Island Killifish Association (LIKA) and the American Killifish Association (AKA) and the American Cichlid Association (ACA). Mark was involved with the formation of the North American Catfish Society as well as other catfish organizations. Over the years he has breed Corydoras, Cichlids, Killies Characins and Livebearers. Mark is currently involved in a variety of projects.
Club Info
The Norwalk Aquarium Society meets the third Thursday of each month (except July and December).
Meetings are held at Earthplace - the Nature Discovery Center located at 10 Woodside Lane in Westport, CT at 8:00 PM.
Each meeting provides either a speaker or program dealing with various aspects of the tropical fish hobby and is open to the general public without cost.
Raffles, door prizes, auctions of rare and exotic aquarium fish, refreshments, and chit chat with fellow hobbyists are a few of the benefits of attending.
